Brass is Best on the Wall

Seeking truth and beauty, is better than seeking our own approval.

Seeking truth and beauty, is better than searching for the wrong in others.

Because, in both instances…. you’ll find what you’re looking for.

Don’t let your theology be about picking apart someone else.

If you have a relationship, bring the loving correction.

If you don’t, then build one and pray.

Because I love history, I like when things make sense.

Because I like things to make sense, I sometimes jump to conclusions.

Jumping is easier than wrestling, testing, and being wrong.

The pendulum loves to be swung because the pendulum doesn’t mind hitting and hurting people.

This is not God’s way.

When I’m upset, or angry I can become a tool for the enemy.

When I love and see others the way God does, I can be at peace.

This world doesn’t need another loud voice, clamouring to be heard.

It needs truth, beauty, and God’s grace.

I tried to start this blog a year ago. It was the Lord’s grace that caused the technical issues.

1 Corinthians 13: 1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
